The Talking Shoes

The Talking Shoes is a cartoon about shoes trying to find their way in a constantly changing world.

Inspired by the idiom ‘walk a mile in my shoes’, this cartoon talks from the perspective of shoes navigating in a changing world driven by fast fashion. The scenario takes place in a shoe shop where several shoes have trouble getting along with each other. Everyone is in different phases of their life in the environment of a shop, trying to find meaning in their life.

This cartoon was created during the workshop Untold with the brand Camper. The idea was to find a way to connect the online shopping experience and the physical one in order to enhance the customer experience with digital / virtual elements in the shop. In this episode that happens in a Camper shop, each shoe is defined with a characteristic personality inspired by its design. In this way, the concept and the craftsmanship behind each model is stated in a way that enhances the sentimental value of a comfortable and unique pair of shoe.
